Our Favourite Met Gala 2026 Jewellery Pieces
The Met Gala 2026 jewellery delivered some of the most captivating storytelling the red carpet has seen in years. With the theme “Fashion Is Art”, both clothing and jewellery were treated as fine art rather than mere decoration. Each piece told a story about the woman wearing it, and what is jewellery if not art? And what is art if not a story?
We’ve chosen six pieces that exemplify this sophisticated narrative woven and chosen by the actresses, artists, models and stylists this year.
So, take a look at our favourite Meta Gala 2026 jewellery pieces.
Kendall Jenner arrived at the Met Gala wearing a pearl-and-diamond suite crafted by Buccellati. Usually, at the Met Gala, jewellery is pronounced, making a statement.
However, Kendall Jenner decided to take a different route, a quiet punctuation. At Hancocks, quiet luxury is our forte, and Kendall Jenner’s choice of subtlety over impact certainly struck a chord with our establishment.
Our personal favourite of the collection was the white and yellow gold pendant, draped around her neck, fashioned back to front elegantly down her back.
Sabrina understood the moment was occupied only by her, and with a dress wrapped in vintage film strips of the 1954 movie “Sabrina” featuring Audrey Hepburn, the message “fashion is art” was presented loud and clear.
But to us, the real showstopper was the Chopard Jewellery paired effortlessly with the dress.
Most notably, the stacking of two Chopard diamond necklaces (54.84 and 48.15 carats, respectively) attached to the back of her gown, trailing through to the middle finger of each hand, making every motion feel choreographed. The diamond headpiece added the extra flair without making the outfit feel overwhelmed.
Tyla’s Meta Gala 2026 jewellery piece was a beautiful 274-carat diamond scarf, crafted from oval and round brilliant cut diamonds set in a platinum base.
The result was extravagant, fluid, and utterly mesmerising, impossible to avert your gaze from.
The piece was draped down her outfit like water running off a cliff. If the goal was to shine at the Met Gala, then we can safely say that Tyla succeeded. A modern mermaid to enthral the public, we certainly were captivated by the beauty of her jewellery.

The night where jewellery took centre stage.
Intention was the driving force of the Met Gala 2026. Each piece was curated, intentionally woven, and told us about the wearer themselves. Storytelling is a feature understated within the jewellery industry, and what is art if not a story told within its own medium? Which is why at Hancocks, we want every piece to tell your story.
